What did you guys think of the debate?

Do you think every topic was answered and enough emphasis was put on the financial crisis?

Permalink Reply by DadThree on September 27, 2008 at 6:24pm: I watched the debate. I thought McCain did well. He expressed much fiscal responsibility, he will cut the wasteful spending. And he said his boots have been in many of the countries discussed, that Patreus and the other general both agree Obama's Irag strategy is bad. Generals don't play politics - they have lives at stake. And that the bailout should NOT use taxpayers money. - Amen to that. Let Wall Street take their lumps. If the effects trickle down to us, so be it, it will bounce back.

How many times did Obama say "McCain is right"? 10 or so? But overall, the debate was pretty much a tie, no clear cut winner.; ▶ Reply to This
