I recently introduced my 2 year old to super heroes through some toys and comic books for tykes. He loves them! Of course, Wonder Woman is his favorite, but really, for those of us that grew up with Linda Carter, isn't she everyone's favorite?

We're even going to do his room in the new house in all super hero stuff. It's just been so fun for me, bringing back memories and stuff like that. My wife isn't as enamored. She's still trying to get the basics, like which heroes and villians are from DC and which are from Marvel.

Good Luck Chris. I am always amazed by the things my kids do. My son for the longest time was into Thomas the Train. After a year of Thomas I was happy to see him into super heroes and racing. He is a Jeff Gordon fan so he still has some learning and at the very least taste to learn.

Yeah, we went through a brief Thomas phase, but thankfully that passed quickly. First it was Seaseme Street, which I was fine with, then The Wiggles, which I wasn't, then it was Dora & Diego, which I was fine with at first but got incredibly annoyed with after a while. Thankfully, I can take super heroes all day!

We just went to the Children's Museum last week and checked out the super heroes collection. You should check it out if you haven't yet. Talk about flashback. My boys could not get enough of it.

Yeah, I took my boy to it on Father's Day weekend. They were doing a Superhero Dad program after hours. It is a fantastic exhibit, and I recommend it to anyone. We'll be going back a few more times before it ends next year.

Thor rocks, by the way.

We introduced super heros to our oldest son when he was 3. He had pooh to start off with then had Bob the Builder, then we introduced spiderman. Since then we have made is rooms theme super hero's. He loves it. But I think he is about ready for a change. He has spiderman, batman, and super man on his walls. He has other superhero's pictures in frames around his room that I printed off the computer. He has the spiderman 3 movie poster in a movie poster frame. Spoiled! lol We always try to give them a better life then what we had. lol

My son is almost 3 and he is familiar with Spiderman, Superman and Batman since we have some of the heroes board books (picked them up at goodwill). The stories are really simple, but it's a nice introduction to superheroes.

Right now Elmo and Winnie the Pooh are my son's super heroes. :-)

I just picked up a great book for my son called Super Friends: Flying High (Step into Reading)
It is a Step 1 book (easy to read) and introduces a few different characters like Aquaman & Flash.

Yeah, they produce a whole comic book series based on this idea. My son loves it. They also have a Shazam! for toddlers. I haven't seen Marvel do much, however, outside of some one-shots here and there.
