Why I Love IndyDads

Other than starting the site, I love IndyDads because of the people I have meet and the impact it is making on my life. I have meet allot of great people since the site has started and trust me I enjoy meeting anyone who will listen to me ramble on about being a dad and improving fatherhood. There have been some who have made a big impact on my life through their charity work and their willingness to help anyone anytime. I could sit here and name the many individuals but that would take to long. Everyone who has been apart of this site by either helping me get it off the ground or the over 130 members that have signed up and participate on this site deserves a big thank you. We honestly would not be where we are without you.

This evening after the kids went to bed I was sitting on here like I do every night looking at the forums, making updates, and checking out other sites that I came to a realization. IndyDads is not just a place where you can talk about your family, work, and the good and bad times of your life but it is also a secondary family. We have a group dedicated to helping you become debt free. One IndyDad took it upon himself to donate 10 amazing books that help you achieve this. We also have another group dedicated to helping you become fit and healthy. After looking at some other sites in Indy, they just do not offer that. Yeah we are not as "busy" as the other sites and we are not as big but we are still small and more importantly still growing. I make this pledge to all of you that have signed up or the lurkers that we will not forget about our mission and why we created this site. This site was created to help all of us become better fathers and to help new, expecting, single, stay at home dads become better fathers. We also will continue to promote the importance of being a involved father in your child's life because I strongly believe that most of our society's problems can be traced back to a fatherless home. Just look at Hollywood and you will understand.
