So once again for me it is time for the open enrollment period at work. This year not being as big for a few reasons and being HUGE for a few reasons. Not so much of an issue since I'm going to have a change of life event (birth of twins) not long into the new year, so I get to pick again when that happens. But huge since my medial insurance is changing so much.

Last week St. Francis came out and said they were dropping Anthem as an insure as of Nov 3. This poses a problem for us since we use a lot of St. Francis and we currently have Anthem. Since I can't afford out of network pay it looks like if they go through with it, I'll be making some changes.

Also, there is a new program at work called an EPO. It supposedly works a lot like an HMO, only the one we will be getting you don't have to have a referral before you see someone other than your primary doctor.

Its looking pretty cool and its cheaper, so I'm about 60% sold at this point. Just need to check and make sure the pregnancy would be covered.

Here's to all of us working through open enrollment!
