The site has been around for a couple months now and even though we are still meeting our goals I still think we can do better. So I am asking you current members of Indydads.com.

What do you think this site is missing? What can we do to make this site apart of your daily visits on the internet? I know everyone has a list of sites they visit everyday. What can we add to make that site on your top 5 list?

Please post your comments and we will review each and every one of them.

Thanks

It's already in my top 5. Heck, I probably check this more than any other site.

My only thought would be if there was a way to show all of the following on one page, that would be awesome:

1. New Forum posts (both that I've participated in and those that I haven't)
2. New Group posts for Groups that I'm a member of (both that I've participated in and those that I haven't)

Also, is there a way to save our "sort by" preferences? For example, when I'm on the Groups page, I like to see them by Latest activity, but it always defaults to Most active.

What about the Chat function? How do you feel about that? Should it be on the front page or leave it as it is by click on the link and logging in?

Oh, and under My Page > Privacy, is there any way to add "Just Members" to the list of options on who can see/do what (e.g. Anyone, Just My Friends, Just Me, Just Members). I think that may help address some of the Privacy concerns that you've inquired about with the newest poll.

Chat seems to be a rarely used feature. Maybe because people just get on, check a few things, and get off, and most of us work full time anyway.

I usually check the Chat page each time I visit just to see if anyone is there, and usually there isn't.

However, I did like the "Who's online" feature. Add that, and the Chat feature might get used more.

I would like to see all groups listed on the front page.

I have the group section set to show the featured groups. We are going to use that as a possible updated feature for some groups.

These are good points guys, please keep them coming.
