Hi Eric - My wife has a commitment at 7pm this Friday. I'd hate for you to move the meeting again. I could call in to your cell to participate, or I can follow-up with you after the fact to hear the updates/add my two cents. Let me know.

Please help a child this summer

I received an email from the Fresh Air Fund about a great program happening this month. Right now any gift you make to The Fresh Air Fund will be matched dollar for dollar by a group of generous donors! If you can give $25 that means $50 for inner-city children. $50 becomes $100! But you must make your donation by June 30th to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity!

Thanks to host families who open up their homes for one or two weeks each summer, children growing up in New York City’s tou… Continue

My Half Bath Remodel

I moved in May of this year and from what I learned home remodel and fixing it up is a ongoing process. So this past weekend my daughter and i decided to fix up the downstairs half bathroom. There was nothing wrong with it other than it was just blah. It would also be the easiest room to upgrade so it was a nice start to see how patient I can be and how good of a handyman I am. All in all it was actually a fun process and learned more about painting than I ever knew.

Below are some before and a… Continue

New Family Member

Ever since I was a kid I have always wanted a dog. I had this belief that pets teach kids great responsibility. But my parents and more to benefit my sister would only get a cat. I apologize to all the cat lovers out there but I hate cats. I am one of those people who need the returned love that a dog will give you.

When I finally got out of college I was going to get a dog but ended up having kids instead. Then my life turned into a constant busy cycle of being a single father, working full ti… Continue

Thanks for the welcome. If only there were 45 more hours in the day;)

He likes to pull everything off the tables or whatever he can reach....Did you mean to say 'divorced' with a 'd', in that sentence above?

What is this water balloon thing all about?

Thanks Eric for all your support. I have heard about an attorney for divorced men on WIBC. His name is Joe Cordell from Cordell and Cordell. He advocates for dads rights with kids and property. He may be a good resource for Indy Dads to contact.

Hi Eric -

Everything is going well at IWU, I'm about ready to start my last class. I saw you wanting to hike/camp more in your resolutions list. I recommend Turkey Run. I took my two daughters (4 and 2) and they were able to do most of the trails.

I have a good one, but on the southside. If you just need a physical and small stuff, I suggest Walgreens Care Clinics or CVS's - I saw where Walgreens are doing physicals for $35.00
