Just watched "Wanted" this weekend. VERY disappointing. Don't waste your time.

I saw Quantum of Solace this weekend. I would give it an overall favorable review. The choice of Daniel Craig continues to be a good one. He is a versatile actor, who is able to continually layer his performance with subtext to make a more complete character than most of the other actors. In many ways, some of the most popular bonds, in terms of the number of movies or dollars made have been some of the shallowest. Brosnan and Moore were both just action punchlines and although I enjoy their movies, they neither have the same impact as Craig. While this movie doesn't have the same emotional impact as Casino Royale, its got more action and exotic locales, both Bond staples. I would say this movie, while not as interesting character and plot-wise as Casino Royale, still ranks in the top 10. The villain is forgettable in this movie - the plot is at least interesting in a different villain way and it furthers the idea from Royale that there is a super secret group that Bond is trying to track down. All in all, a solid B to B+ rating.

Did anyone else see it?

I saw Saw V and it was a little lack luster but the gory parts were awesome. The story needs some more work but all in all it was pretty good.

Went to see Saw V. I would rank it as my second favorite in the series. It would be hard to beat Saw II (the one where people are locked in the house), which is my current favorite. If you are a die-hard Jigsaw Killer fan, the opening scene will piss you off a bit. Don't give up on it though. This is a good one.

I am in the same boat as you. Almost afraid to see what they do with the franchise after IV

I cannot WAIT for Saw V. I don't know why I'm hooked on this series, but I am. I was a little disappointed with IV, so I hope they don't continue their downhill slide.
