Yeah we're going on Wednesday (they're going to have a jazz band playing). We don't do the State Fair, we choose to go the the County Fair for a number of reasons. It is almost in our backyard (I live in the Hanover edition off of Southeastern Ave.), it's cheaper to go to this one, and my wife participated in the library's summer reading program and receive a "family" pass to get in for $4.

Very nice. My wife and I were discussing it today after church, and we think we'll go one night this week, as well.

We went last year for Kids day which was the last day of the fair and all the rides were free for kids. It was fun although all the carnies seemed to have a chip on their shoulder during the free period. Their website is very poor this year and doesn't seem to have any info or schedule of events so who knows if they are having that this year. Anybody know?
