Okay, this is the part where you all say, "Hi John"....

Oh wait, not that type of meeting? lol

Hey folks, I'm John Cannon. I'm a small business owner ( www.MyCarDoc.com ), a native Texan, father of three wonderful kids. Like most of you, I'm just doing the best I can to set the best example I can and teach my kids to be decent people when they grow up too.

I'm also wanting to start a non-profit that benefits under-privileged children in the area by buying school supplies or clothes in the fall, christmas or hannukah presents in the winter, and/or sending them to a camp in the summer. If ANYONE has any ideas how to get the ball rolling on something like this, I'm all ears. I just think w/the great group of dads we have on this site and as many of us have small businesses or have access to make executive decisions, we could do so much to change the lives of some kids around this town.

Thanks! This has been a dream of mine for a couple of years now and I feel like I'm finally getting ready to get it off the ground. I'm hoping to start making a difference before school starts in the fall.; ▶ Reply to This

Fantastic! Typically, Mondays and Tuesdays are best for me for meetings, but let me know what works for you and we'll make it happen.
