What are your memories of the RCA (Hoosier) Dome

Actually, I don't think I've ever been inside the dome.

Actually, I'm shocked that we still owe $69 million on it. It's what, 24 years old? Does any government out there have any fiscal responsibility? Any? I have a feeling in 24 years, we will still owe $720 million on Lucas Oil Stadium.

Apparently they rolled that $69 million amount owed into the Lucas Oil Stadium deal. Just brilliant ain't they?

Well, at least Indiana has a balanced budget, resulting in a $1.6 billion surplus, which is more than we can say for the Feds.

I have many great memories of the dome. In the late 80s and early 90s, my dad would get tickets from work. While the Colts weren't too great then, I loved it! Because of those memories, I cannot wait until my son is old enough to take him to his first game. As a season ticket holder, I have many from the last few years. Including the low of the Steelers game and Nick Harper letting a slow QB take him down, and the high of the AFC Championship win over the Pats. That was the greatest game I have ever seen! So many ups and downs in one game. Chris ( a fellow indydads member) and my best friend was so upset in the first half, he wanted to leave! When it was over, my ears were ringing like I had been at a rock concert and we were all going nuts. It was awesome! Unfortunately, I don't think that Lucus Oil will ever be that loud.
